Paris, the capital of France, is one of the largest cities in Europe, with 2.2 million people living in the centre and almost 12 million people living in the suburbs. It is located on the River Seine. Paris is famous for being the most beautiful and romantic of all cities. It is also called the City of Light or the Capital of Fashion.
